Desmond Kitsi is a graduate with a background in Agricultural Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and computer science and currently pursuing his Master’s in Project Management. He also developed capacity in professional skills development in computer system engineering, networking, network security, and cybersecurity.
He participated and trained in the Accra Business School’s CEO’s Academy and is awarded an Executive Certificate in Leadership. He is an inspirational leader with deep understanding of how to lead by challenging the status quo and embracing change strategically to cause growth and development.
He believes in empowering young people by giving them the voice they need through active leadership skills development and building their capacities to create wealth for themselves and those around them through entrepreneurship.
Kitsi Desmond works as an entrepreneur, building digital products that solve challenges in the Ghanaian Tech Space through his business Desired Technology Solutions. He is now actively working as a Digital Marketing Specialist, helping build businesses through strategic Digital Media Engagement and planning.
His skills in the Web Technology space have helped him bring businesses out of the dust into the global space. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from the Accra Business School, Ghana.
Kitsi Desmond is a Digital Skills Educator with intense focus on building the capacity of young people and professionals with over 10,000 hours of relevant Digital, Leadership and Entrepreneurship skills training, helping them to engage high-value skills in the digital space.
His desire to see young people become highly relevant in the 21st century has caused him to go for a global call to institutionalizing his passion for growth of young people, and making them very relevant with skills that will financially enable them to eradicate poverty.
His teaching capacity and techniques has seen hundreds of young people go from zero knowledge and skills in the digital space to learning and rising into expert level skilled people.
His vision for young people caused him to establish Genius IT Foundation, this organization that is birthing and growing skilled youths that are able to generate income through the trainings provided by this noble organization, helping them become more prone to opportunities in ending poverty.
His leadership type brings people together, working for a common goal irrespective of their religious or economic backgrounds.
He envisions the continent of Africa becoming a hub of responsible, knowledgeable, and skilled people capable of driving change and winning the focus and attention of the world with innovations, interventions, and quality leadership using the tools and skills technology provides even as we develop the capacity to build more complex technological solutions to Africa’s problems and challenges.
