Mr. Desmond Kitsi, the Founder and Executive Director of the Genius IT Foundation, proudly represented the organization at the inaugural African Non-Profit Summit. Held at the Isser Conference Hall, University of Ghana, Legon. The summit was themed “Powering Social Impact, Organizational Development, and Collaboration” and ran from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The event attracted a diverse assembly of non-profit organizations, all eager to enhance their social impact through learning and collaboration. Mr. Kitsi and other attendees engaged in a series of insightful sessions and interactive discussions aimed at strengthening their organizational capabilities.
Key sessions of the summit included deep dives into the processes, journeys, and partnerships necessary for driving social impact. Interactive lessons on tax compliance for non-profits, innovative strategies for resource mobilization, and the creation of digital ecosystems for partnerships were also major highlights.
Attendees were introduced to practical financial management tools to make financial dreams a reality. A significant part of the summit was the table exercises on finance management, good governance, and robust processes, which demonstrated how these elements support greater impact.
