Genius IT Foundation Participates in CodaBot STEM Conference 2024

On July 1, 2024, the Genius IT Foundation had the privilege of participating in the CodaBot STEM Conference 2024, held at the Institute of Social Statistical and Economic Research (ISSER) Conference Hall of the University of Ghana, Legon. The event, themed “Leveraging STEM for Problem Solving,” brought together key stakeholders, leaders, and executives from the STEM community, including the Education Minister, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

Genius IT Foundation was represented by a dedicated team of six members: Desmond Kitsi, Caleb Amemasor, Esther Amedzo, Mitchel Akumani, Ophelia, and Perpetual Senalor. Our team actively engaged in the conference, contributing to the discussions and gaining valuable insights into the latest advancements and strategies in STEM education.

The Executive Director of Genius IT Foundation, Mr. Desmond Kitsi, played a significant role in the conference by asking key questions regarding the strategies for implementing STEM education in Ghana. The conference featured notable speeches, including the keynote address by the Education Minister, who emphasized the need for increased investment in STEM education. Other highlights included a presentation by the Vice-Chancellor of Pentecost University, who discussed leveraging STEM for problem-solving and announced the commencement of the Pentecost Engineering Village project as well the Executive Leadership Team of CodaBot
