Ho, Volta Region, Ghana – The Executive Team of Genius IT Foundation paid a courtesy call on the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Divine Bosson, on June 6, 2023, to discuss their shared vision of promoting STEM and Technology Education within the Volta Region, specifically the Ho Municipal area. The meeting was marked by an inspiring endorsement and a commitment to support the foundation’s mission.
During the meeting, Mr Divine Bosson, known for his active involvement in youth development in the Ho Municipal, expressed his enthusiasm for technology and its transformative potential in the Volta Region. As a demonstration of his commitment, he presented STEM kits to the foundation, further aiding their efforts to advance STEM education.
Mr Bosson’s involvement with the Genius IT Foundation has been remarkable. His consistent participation in their events and programs showcases his dedication to empowering young people in the region. Recently, at the TransforME program organized by Asustem Robotics in partnership with Genius IT Foundation, and sponsored by Lenovo, Mr Bosson made a generous donation of GHC 1000.00 to the foundation, highlighting his endorsement and appreciation for their remarkable work in Ho.
The Ho Municipal Chief Executive’s support for the foundation was evident as he personally presided over the graduation ceremony of the first batch of children empowered by the foundation with advanced digital skills. Recognizing the immense potential of practical STEM education, Mr Bosson expressed his belief that it would be a catalyst for innovation and technological advancement in the region.
